Long Update

Hi, sorry to all for not having written for such a long time (almost a month :P) but I have been really busy doing my College of Law exams :P yupz...its finally over and hopefully I would have passed my exams and can be admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW! How exciting. But despite having exams..that is not to say that I didn't do anything :P...haha...so now here is a quick update on whats been happening (cheating I know, but in the circumstances, its acceptable!)
Lil had a dinner date with her colleagues, of which I was kindly invited too...its was at Libertine restaurant (a French/Vietnamese fine dining place..nice decor and food was ok)...it was good to just see my Lil socialising (because usually its either with our friends or my friends when she is with me) and talking about subjects that are related to her (work, work gossip, work stories, etc haha). A very nice bunch of people and at least now when Lil tells me something, I can now put a face to the name :)
We also attended another Pot Luck dinner at the Loes (Maz)...what?! you may say...another pot luck dinner! haha... the only difference is that this time it was really really good food (sorry again Yish...let me know if this is disturbing you haha)...Here are some of the pictures for it...
Maz's mum, Farra (Maz's sister in law), Maz and Lil all in the kitchen...cooking haha...
Green Tea Smoked oysters (with cucumber, soya sauce and avocado)...a fantastic entree
Yum, Yum just look at those oysters, definitely better than any 5 star restaurant!
Lil arranging the oysters
We also had fresh salmon sushimi (it was Lil's idea to roll it up and make it into a fish pattern...sorry Yish...I know you must be reading this by now :P haha)
The salmon was so fresh (just got from the fish market that same day)...beautiful with wasabi and soy sauce
We also had fried tempura style prawns (with rice crumbs instead of bread crumbs...very nice)
We also had (homemade) Peking duck! Yes very sorry Yish ("KNS"!!! haha)...
my peking duck roll is ready for wrapping :P
maz, tilly and lil

There were also other dishes (mainly vegetarian type dishes) but I solely took photos of those dishes I liked ahaha...overall a well balanced seafood type of dinner :P
fruit platter for dessert
I once again made my egg tarts (a huge hit, although I should get use to the varying heat of the oven)...so light and fresh
A perfect homemade egg tart with fruit
See that Yish?
Ok got more updates to come, which I will slowly upload...so watch this space!
