Maz's + Brad's Bday Party

Another fun filled Saturday is here :)...the Sydney weather was bright, sunny and hot hot hot... perfect tanning and beach weather :P. After my morning tennis lesson, Ant and myself went to Clovelly (a beach-side suburb of Sydney...a bit like Bondi and very close to it, Bondi is the nxt beach to it) for a bit of snorkelling. The water was icy cold but crystal clear..and I was quite surprised by the amount of fishes I could actually see. I even saw this large about 1m long blue groper blissfully swimming around while all the other snorkellers were swimming around. Being such perfect weather...there were plenty of people around, sunning themselves, and just generally enjoying the weather

Now Clovelly is not a normal beach...its more of a tiny inlet with some sand, but the rest of it as you can see from the picture above...its actually concrete (very hot concrete). Now my friends... that may not seem very appealing to you, but when you are there with a towel and just looking to sunbathe (without that troublesome sand getting in the way) and going into crystal clear waters...then this is the place to go :) Plus, Bondi and Coogee beaches are only about 10 mins away so its pretty much a choice for those who want to come here.

The two of us just chillin and knocking back some beers...talking about life and just enjoying the view :) notice how dark I am...cool eh...you know that summer has finally arrived :P

Later that night (I was pretty much exhausted, burnt and sore from the morning tennis and snorkelling..plus I got a 'new' haircut...a totally different style to the one that you would see me in...just in time for summer and a new beginning in Sydney :)...see if you can spot it in the pics) anyway...later that night, I went to Oscars (with my new 'tan') for a birthday party for two of my volleyball friends...there was plenty of people and other friends there and of course...alcohol :P

Marissa (birthday girl) and me...notice that Maz is looking ok? thats coz its early in the night...and its only her FIRST drink :P she really cannot drink any alcohol and gets totally smashed after 2-3 drinks :P sorry Maz if you are reading this...haha...but its a well known fact now :)
