Ryo's Noodles

We have just been introduced to a new ramen place...that would put such places such as Ramenkan to shame! :P Yes I am serious...this place absolutely sells the best Ramen in Sydney (East Coast of Australia, Australia, place other than Japan???) and believe me the accolades are well deserved. Its this small ramen place in Crows Nest and everything on the walls (ie. menus) is in Japanese :P. It seems to be a very small scale operation, with a small staff levels. Ok besides the original decor and the authentic atmosphere ...what is truely amazing is the Ramen...specifically the stock. I don't know what they do, but have you ever had soup thats soooo thick that you actually have to ask them to 'water it down' a little just so you could drink it. No its not like jelly or stiff or anything...but its just thick with flavour and very solid. Must have been cooking over hours with lots of TLC :)...Just FYI, I had the pork miso ramen, and Lil, JY, Maz had the spicy ramen...they also have chicken flavoured ramen. They do have rice dishes, but it is for the Ramen that people come here for. I have been told that they only make a limited amount per day, and once its finished..thats it...closed. Can be at 7pm, 8pm or 9pm...once its gone its over for the day. Here are the rest of the pictures from that night...
Decor
Spicy Ramen - hot & spicy :)
Pork Ramen...I don't know if you can see it from the picture but can you see the "browness" of the stock??? trust me...this was very thick. Oh and they also are not stingy with their ingredients (ie. in places like Ramenkan and Ichiban Boshi where they give you 1 piece of meat...here its quite substantial) Yum!
